Transforming Complexity
Into Evidence.

Advancing Research Standards Through Rigour

JP Analytics (Joseph Peniel Analytics and Consultancy) provides research, data science, and analytics services to individuals, academic institutions, NGOs, government agencies, and international organisations.

Founded by Felix Emeka Anyiam — a Nigerian public health scientist, epidemiologist, and data scientist with more than a decade of experience in open science, research systems strengthening, and data-driven solutions across Africa. He serves as Research & Data Science Officer at the University of Port Harcourt and Research Scientist / Biostatistician at the Centre for Health and Development (CHD), built through partnerships with the University of Toronto and University of Ottawa.

Our work focuses on delivering high-quality technical support that turns complex data into clear, actionable evidence. International clients and partners engage us primarily for:

  • Research design and methodology consulting

Refund Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This Refund Policy applies to professional consulting, research, and training services provided by Joseph Peniel Analytics and Consultancy (“JP Analytics”).

1. Nature of Services

Our services are custom professional services (research design, statistical analysis, data systems, MERL frameworks, technical writing, and certificate training). They are not standardised consumer products.

2. Deposits and Payments

Project deposits or advance payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, as they cover initial planning, resource allocation, and opportunity cost. Milestone payments are due upon completion of the agreed deliverables for that stage.

3. Cancellation by Client

If you cancel a project before any work has begun, we will refund any payments received minus a reasonable administrative fee (if applicable). If you cancel after work has started, you remain responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated on a time-and-materials or percentage-of-completion basis as specified in the project agreement.

4. Cancellation by JP Analytics

If we are unable to deliver the agreed services for reasons within our control, we will offer either a full refund of fees paid for undelivered work, or completion of the work by an agreed alternative arrangement.

5. Quality Concerns

If you believe a deliverable does not meet the specifications agreed in the project proposal or contract, please notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery. We will review the concern in good faith and, where appropriate, revise the work at no additional cost or offer a partial refund/credit.

6. Training & Certificate Courses

Registration fees for workshops and certificate courses are generally non-refundable within 14 days of the course start date. Transfers to a later cohort may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Verified certificates are issued only upon successful completion of course requirements.

7. No Refund Situations

Refunds will not normally be provided for change of mind after work has commenced, dissatisfaction with research findings or statistical results that are methodologically sound, or delays caused by the client (e.g., late provision of data or feedback).

8. How to Request a Refund or Raise a Concern

Contact jpenielanalytics@gmail.com with project/invoice reference, a clear description of the issue, and supporting details. We aim to respond within 5–7 business days.
